Net metering is a system by which Oregon’s utility companies allow you to sell energy back to the grid. If you create surplus energy with your solar panels, you’ll receive credits from your utility company which will roll over month to month and be reflected in your bill. Participants need a bidirectional meter and a small-scale solar installation (usually under 25kW) to participate – and we’re happy to help you get started!
